Sunrise in Belgrade. Probably the only benefit of jetlag is being able to witness this!
I created this by combining two photos taken within seconds of each other. This is what the moon actually looked like, it was just elsewhere in the sky. At about 4.30am the weekend before last..
Think this is an embassy…looking at it afterwards I noticed the “no pictures” sign! (Taken with Instagram)
Guess what I can see from my studio window! Knew this was the perfect flat when I saw this!
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. We had a lot of problems with our previous landlady and have just moved into a gorgeous new flat. Plus, technically we don’t have internet connected yet, I guessed the password to a neighbour’s wifi which is only in range from our balcony.. Desperate much? Haha
Lots of pics soon. Had a wander around St. Marko’s church last week and of course, a tour of the new flat (and it’s amazing views!).
Went to Belgrade Calling Festival on Friday, specifically just to see The Darkness. We were right at the front so I managed to snap a rubbish phone shot of Justin Hawkins. But I don’t care because it was so much fun, literally the best show I’ve ever been to. Even if they weren’t one of my favourite bands, they were just phenomenal!
My lack of posts recently is mainly due to the fact I’ve been busy hunting for a new flat. Our landlady changed her mind about renewing our lease at the last minute for no reason at all… She’s awesome..
On Friday we saw a few in Vračar, one was right next to St. Sava, the other was a penthouse and had amazing 360 views of the city. Unfortunately, one was horribly decorated and the other was still under construction.
Photographed these planes that were buzzing around low over the city last week. Didn’t realise what they were doing until a friend told me they were spraying the mosquitoes! The little one looked like a flying Yugo!
Had a lovely day in the countryside. Didn’t take my camera with me unfortunately, so here’s some rubbish phone snaps!
